The Maker Lab provides free access to new tools and environments that foster creativity and discovery. The students can laser-cut personalized components, 3D-print design prototypes, or develop creative interaction design by coding with Arduino or other open source platforms. The Maker Lab is a place where any CUTe students, faculty, or staff members can be quickly trained to use the tools, and the teamwork of students from multiple departments can easily work together. The Maker Lab encourages students to learn through experimenting and making. Our students have developed several creative works, which have been displayed in Maker activities, including the Taipei Maker Faire in Nov 2017.
